Tupac Shakur Legacy is an official interactive biography of Tupac Shakur released on August 16, 2006. The author of the book is Jamal Joseph, a friend of the Shakur family and a former Black Panther Party member. The book is published by Atria Books a division of Simon & Schuster. It features unseen family photographs, intimate stories, and over 20 removable reproductions of his handwritten song lyrics, contracts, scripts, poetry, and other personal papers. - WIKIPEDIA

Clearly one of the most influential figures of the late 2oth century..though glorified in influence, talent, and controversy..few highlight the drive, scars and the mind of tupac amaru shakur. I highlight this thursday one of the crucibles of countless men/women who made credible societal impact for greater change: being misunderstood. Today's early 90's footage allows tupac to be heard even now in 2010, fifteen years deep from his departure. Journalist ed gordon(bet.com) opens the door to tupac's prophetic resonance, from the current events of 1994, in relation to the present day. HOUR OF LEGACY: TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR

The Vatican has released its list of favorite songs for MySpace’s new streaming service MySpace Music, which launched today (December 3).

Surprisingly, one of the 12 tracks is Tupac Shakur’s song “Changes,” which was released in 1998 on Shakur’s Greatest Hits album, which was released in 1998.

“The genres are very different from each other, but all these artists share the aim to reach the heart of good minded people,” The Vatican wrote on its official MySpace Music page.

The list was compiled by Father Giulio Neroni, artistic director for St. Paul’s Multimedia, a church publisher. TELEGRAPH.COM UK

We see the legacy of tupac continue, with prophetic influence. We see the weight of his words move through socio-political and spiritual forums. Many look to tupac's mantle of influence, because he exemplified more than the shining lights of fame, but his views challenged pollitics, industry and the very hearts of men.
